Hollywood..you know I love you more than what I should...

I love celebrities and anything Hollywood and movies. One of my favoites things to do is go to the Sundance Film festival and look for stars. The film festival is when Hollywood comes to us. (Thank you Bob) So over the weekend, I saw some stars and watched a hockey game. Good times.

Here are some of my favorite pictures with the celebrities. We saw Dave Annabell (Justin from Brothers and Sisters) He was so nice. Then we have Jason Thompson, from General Hospital.

Both very friendly and very so cute. Then there was HOT Scott. (Amy's personal favorite)

We also saw Cube Gooding Jr. and DB Sweeny, however DB is on the not hot list, because he totally pivoned us with his jersey. (He dissed us, reference my sisters use because we totally got pivoned by Jeremy Pivon at a restaurant. We had to wait 30 min for a table while Pivon, walked right in. So we got slided for Jeremy Pivon--hence we got Pivoned. )

We had a great day. Can't wait for next year. (I am in the process of purchasing a new lens for my camera, one that will zoom in on the celebrities. ) I love it. Yeah Hollywood......

I totally cut my hair. I was in the mood for something different. I like the messy look. (it's harder then you think to take a picture of yourself--I did the best I could)

Over the Christmas break, I was able to have lunch with two roommates from college, Sarah and Veronica. We lived in Old Farm and we had the best time. I love these girls. Whenever I think of college the girls from X-2 always come to mind. Thanks for being such great friends. People come into your lives at certain times and I feel so blessed to have you both in my life. I love that we have been able to keep in touch. I admire you both so much. I hope we don't have to wait another 6 years to get together.

Painting

Over the Christmas break, I decided to paint my kitchen. My roommate helped me and we painted it RED. I love it. It adds so much. We did it on New Year's Eve. I figured I was going to be up until midnight anyway, might as well do a project. Lisa came over and painted a small section, too.

Getting started. First I had to tape everything. I hate this part. It's so hard to get everything even. I think I did ok.

There is no turning back now. Each coat went faster and faster. It really was not too bad. (4 1/2 coats. )

This after the first coat. I was concerened about the stripes, but after a few more coats, they went away.

And the finished product.

The light makes it look light, but it's dark and totally even. I think it adds so much to my house. Now, I'm ready to paint my room, my living room, the list keeps going.

Christmas 2008-Tis the season

I love Christmas. I sad to see it go. I had a great vacation and Christmas.

Christmas Eve we always make omelettes. We have been doing this since we were little. This tradition is what Grandma and Grandpa Mills started. We love it. We order what we want and Grandpa would cook it up for us. Then Dad started doing it. This year, Lisa was the cook. Jeff and Jamie eating their omelettes. They got in on Christmas Eve after a delayed flight and lost luggage. Good times.

Then we frosted sugar cookies. These were so good, if I do say so myself.

Christmas Day. We opened presents and then had waffles with berries and cream and sausage. I think it's safe to say that Santa made his appearance. Thanks for everything. Lately on Christmas day we have been going to the movies. This year we saw The Curious Case of Bejamin Buttons. It was a good show, long and sad, but good and well Brad Pitt looks great in it. (the middle part, when he is not old)

We also saw Marley and Me, (cute show about life and family)the Valkerie, (interesting) and Four Christmases--( I laughed so hard)

Getting to the movies this year was a bit difficult, what with the White Christmas that we had. We had to dig out our cars thanks to the mound of snow the plows left behind. It's a good thing we have great neighbors.

I'm always sad to see Christmas go. I love the build up. I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and I am looking forward to seeing pictures on your blogs.

Thanksgiving

Finally, I am posting Thanksgiving pictures. Now that I am out of school for Christmas break, I am hoping to catch up on blogging. For Thanksgiving my family went to St. George. We had a great time. Of course we love the sleeping arrangements. The three of us get to share the living room. Although, this year we had one less person, so our suite was a little bit roomy-er.

Getting the apple salad ready. Grandma showed me how to correctly cut the apples for the salad a few years ago and now that is my job. We had planned to eat at 1:00 and we sat down at 1:05. We did pretty good.

After the fabulous food, we cleaned up, sang a few chorus of Buffalo girls while washing dishes, and then took naps. (We had to gear up for the midnight shopping trip)

Shopping at the outlets at midnight. I have to get talked into the "day after sales", I hate crowds and lots of people, but I managed and had a good time. Little did I know that my Aunt Deb's energy would go all night and into the next day. We got up at 5:30 to hit the sales. Then we went shooting. This was my first time. I liked it, but I need to practice up.

I was hoping that my CTU Bauer shirt would help me shoot better. It didn't . And it took me a few times before I figure out how to hold the gun. and I ended up with a nice bruise on my arm. (I should of had Sage teach me that--She looked pretty impressive when she was holding her gun)

I think I look pretty good. :)

I love trying to pack all the extra stuff that you buy along the way. Can't wait for next year.

I was tagged by Jamilyn. I need to post 7 random things about myself. So here goes.

1. If I like something, I get pretty intense about it. Like my whole life will revolve around it especially if it has to do with television. Just some things from the past: The Young Riders, X-files, 24, and now Bones.

2. I think I have a little OCD in me. (I have no idea where this comes from) It has become more present since I have my own place. I like routine and I like things in certain places. ( I think I might be hard to live with...maybe. Of course I don't think so) :)

3. I like to think I have a wild side. Although I am very tame, I think deep down I could be wild. (within reason) Leathers, tattoo, on the back of a Harley Davidson.

4. I don't like to stay up late. I am an early to bed person, except on the weekends. This is why Marianne and I get along so well...same schedule.

5. I love love love traditions. Why change it if it works? (see #2) Christmas Eve will always have omlettes.

6. I love big family get togethers. I know it goes with #5, but traditions and family, It's the best. I love sleeping on air mattresses with my 3 sisters and however many cousins, whining that I'm too old to sleep on the floor, making memories.

7. I would rather spend my money on big screen TVs and electronics then clothes. I hate to shop for clothes. Lisa is my fashion consultant and sometimes Trish will even pick up something for me.
