Every year my ward has a formal dance. Everyone dresses up and we have a nice dinner and a dance. It's really fun. For the last two years, my friend Emily and I get ready together, her sister Kate takes our pictures and then drive over.Showing off our jewels.

Celebrity Hockey

During the Sundance Film Festival we attended Celebrity Hockey. Love it! We get up close and personal with some of the celebrities.

This is my favorite pic--Michael Rosenbaum. He is an animal on the ice. We talked to him for a bit. And then later as we were walking out-he stopped and chatted for a second. He said he loved my hair!!! And let's just say I had a chance to make it with a C-list celebrity. He was pretty funny.
Can't wait for next year.

Bedroom.....Done

After living in my house for 3 years, going on 4, I finally decided to 'finish' my bedroom.

So last summer had my friend help me and we painted my room. As you can see I make my friend do the hardest part.

Finally hung up my mirror.

Bought me a chair...to 'read' in. :) And the lamp and finally hung up my Jackson Hole poster. (Jen--we love it)

I got rid of a bookcase that didn't match and I bought this little beauty. And then my friend 'convinced' me that I needed a flat screen TV. "Steff it will really clean up the area. You are not putting that dinosaur of a TV back on your new bookcase" Ok well twist my arm. I love it by the way. :)

And now I think I'm finished.

Now, I need to move onto another room. What else do I need??

One of my favorite gifts

For Christmas my parents always give us some kitchen stuff. This year, they gave me this little gem.....

With this gem, I 've been making this.....yeah, I make bread. It's the easiest thing in the world and it turns out perfect every time. I love it. I have to limit how many times I make bread a week. It's delicious. My favorite is cinnamon. Rosemary and asiago cheese is good, and cranberries and orange peel--the options are limitless.

Super Bowl Sunday

Just a day to enjoy food, drinks and commercials. This year we enjoyed some Margaritas. Good choice.

There's booze in the blender, and soon it will render, that crazy concoction that helps me hang on. Let it begin. (without the alcohol --of course) Wasted away again in Margarita-ville--
