St. Augustine

Ok, finally the last of the Florida pictures. I am a total slacker. We drove down to St. Augustine. I think this was one of my favorite things to do. The city was so cool and it was a beautiful day. We started it out with....a morning devotional.
We can't forget the stop at the Harley Davidson store to celebrate "Bike"-tober. This place was huge. We actually couldn't stop, just a drive by.

And we can't get too far without a stop for breakfast and a diet coke in a styrofoam cup. Love it.

Next stop: St. Augustines. I was so excited to practice taking pictures with my camera. My uncle was so great to help me and show me some tips. We had a great time. In St. Augustine, we saw Castillo de San Marcos. It was a castle built by the Spanish to protect ther empire in America. It was built in 1756.

At the mission they had a cannon re-enactment. This was pretty cool.

These are some of my favorite pictures of the mission.

Jen talking to Lisa on the phone. It was as if she was there!

Getting my lesson in photography.

Whatever it takes to get the shot. Photographers--got to love them.

After the misson, we walked around the city. We ate at a fantastic resteraunt and had the best fish tacos. We also stopped at a chocolate shop. That was great. But the Chocolate covered Key Lime Pie was our favorite little gem.

It was such a great trip. I'm so ready to go back. Beautiful city.
