Portland

I've done a few posts so scroll down.
I worked in one more trip before school started. I flew to Portland to see Jamie and Jeff. It was a blast. It was a quick trip, but well worth it.
First stop, was breakfast. We ate a Pine State. Great food. Jamie and Jeff know all the great eating establishments. It was good. And as Jamie says, "It's so Portland"

We went to the Portland Saturday market. This is a huge market with jewelery, food, clothes and tons of other things. "It's so Portland"
Then we went to the Pittock Mansion. This was pretty cool. I liked the view of Portland.Jeff always excited to have his picture taken. Love it!!
Ahh, there's a good pic.
The grounds were so pretty. Then... onto sushi. This place was so good.

And Jeff's shoes that everyone comments on. I think the one day he wore them he had 4 people say how cool they are. It made me laugh.
Sunday we went to church and then Jeff hooked me up with music.
The next day Jamie and I went shopping at the outlets. I bought a few North Face jackets and then some shirts from the Esprit outlet. My favorite quote was when the Esprit girl asked me if I wanted a membership card for Esprit and I was like well, I'm just visiting so no. Sales girl says shockingly and--with a confused look on her face: and you don't have an Esprit where you live?
Me: hum no. (thinking to myself and yes life goes on)
Me and Jamie on the way out: hum no and we haven't had one since like the 8th grade. (see birthday post and do the subtraction on your own to see how long it's been :) )
Thought it was pretty funny. I was actually shocked that I found some shirts there. Have to love the no sales tax in Portland.
I had a good time. Jamie and Jeff always make it fun. Can't wait to come back. Jamie and Jeff just moved downtown, so I'm going to have to come out again

Birthday

July 29 was my 33rd birthday.(Yeah, that's right I said it) I had a great time. I met my friends for brunch and Kneaders.
Me and Amy
Me and Kristin
Enjoying my food.
Amy and I ordered the french toast with berries. It was so good. Me, Kristin and Amy.
After brunch we went shopping. I spent some birthday money and after lunch at Apollo and a few Rockstars chased with a diet coke-- we soaked up the rays. It was a hot one. Lot of laughter going on. (That's when I got Amy hooked on Rockstars) It was a great way to spend the day. I love my friends.

Star Valley

Star Valley 2010
We started with breakfast at Kneaders. Then we golf.
Then the rains come.
What is Star Valley without a little rain on the golf course. Ser
iously, every year.
But, it did clear up for golfing the next day. We had a gr
eat time.

Lisa's golf cart broke down on the 17th hole. We laughed pretty ha
rd. Jen call the golf shop and told them about the cart. I don't think they believed us. Jen laid down the hammer. "I don't know what to tell you, but you've got a cart on the 17th hole that won't start" We laughed so hard. They came and got the cart.Enjoying the beautiful weather after the rain.
Family picture-after church.

The Girls. We have a great time together. We've changed it from a family reunion to a Girls weekend and Ron and Pat (mom and dad) are invited to tag along. :)
Can't wait for next year.
