These are the shelves that I (or my Dad) hung up in the kitchen. Don't be fooled these shelves are a pain in the neck to hang up. I think it looks great, regardless of what a pain it was to hang up.

Washington DC

These were the girls that I was in charge of. They were such great girls and we had so much fun.

The White House.

Tomb of the Unknown Soliders and the changing of the guard at Arlington Cemetary.

JFK's eternal flame. This was pretty cool to see.
The choir singing in the Holocaust Museum. They sang so beautifully, it really brought tears to the eyes.
WWII memorial. This was huge and so cool to pay tribute to the men who fought.

Mari, Nancy and me. We were waiting around for the choir to finish singing in Union Station.
Jefferson Memorial.
My favorite monument is the Washington Monument. I just think it is so cool and it's totally represents DC.

Rick, Mari, me, and Nancy. We had the best time together. We have so many inside jokes from this trip..it is awesome. We still talk about our DC trip.

Highlight of my Christmas break
Over the Christmas break, I was able to have lunch with two roommates from college, Sarah and Veronica. We lived in Old Farm and we had the best time. I love these girls. Whenever I think of college the girls from X-2 always come to mind. Thanks for being such great friends. People come into your lives at certain times and I feel so blessed to have you both in my life. I love that we have been able to keep in touch. I admire you both so much. I hope we don't have to wait another 6 years to get together.
Love, love--
x-2 has got you

Christmas 2008-Tis the season

We also saw Marley and Me, (cute show about life and family)the Valkerie, (interesting) and Four Christmases--( I laughed so hard)
Getting to the movies this year was a bit difficult, what with the White Christmas that we had. We had to dig out our cars thanks to the mound of snow the plows left behind. It's a good thing we have great neighbors.
I'm always sad to see Christmas go. I love the build up. I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and I am looking forward to seeing pictures on your blogs.
