London Baby

London Baby!!

Onto LONDON!!! I Loved everything about London. I can't wait to go back.
It was so nice understanding what people were saying to me.
I teared up when I saw Big Ben and the Parliament building.

We walked all over London and it was totally raining. Sure glad my parents made me pack my rain coat. It was needed.

We happened to be in town when Wimbledon was going on. This was pretty exciting to watch the tennis matches for a bit. And a stop at Buckingham Palace. I was hoping to see Prince William. It didn't happen.
wow the first day in London was amazing.
And our fantastic hotel room was awesome. Our 'air conditioning' was broken aka the fan (Liz solved the problem), and we were missing a light and we had a huge gap between the door and the floor. I would totally stay here again--the location was perfect.

Day 4

Day 4 not my favorite day. I lost my wallet or it was stolen from my bag, or I was just careless and dropped it. Not sure which is true. That pretty much ruined the entire day for me. I was so done with Paris. We actually stayed in a friends apartment in the city. But there was no lift and we had to carry our bags up these stairs. I was a hot sweaty mess when we were done.

We spent sometime out front of the Opera house. And Liz started talking to some random French man. I was really in no mood at all. I might not have been very fun.

But I did get kissed by a French man. His name was James and he gave me his email address. My mood changed a bit.

And getting some macaroons also made it better. and finally being able to talk to my dad. I felt so much better when he was able to tell me he stopped my credit cards and there hadn't been any charges. :)

We had dinner at Diane's hotel and then walked around Paris for the last time.

Paris Day 3

and I'm back to blogging. Paris Day 3. We went to the Palace of Versailles. This was amazing. We had to wait in the longest line ever. And it was so HOT. We were dying of thirst.

The Hall of mirrors was beautiful. This is where they held all their balls. Can you imagine?

Then we went back to the Effiel tower and enjoyed a crepe by the Seine River.

day 2

Day 2 was Monte's Garden. This was one of my favorite things. It was nice to get out of the city.
Eating my first french croissant. Very tasty.
This is where Monet painted his famous picture 'Water Lilies' It was so peaceful here.

and then we missed the train.

So we walked around the town of Vernon. There was a cool market going on and I bought some sandals.

I was happy to find some coke light to help me make it through.
Yes that is McDonald's. We were so hungry, I really didn't care where I ate.
Eating french pastries. They were so good.
Overall a successful day 2 in Paris. Every night we were so tired. And it was so hot and sticky.

California

Lisa, Jen and I all went to California for a singles conference. (What can we say, we were giving it a go)
And well....at least we always have a good time together.Lisa and Jen on the shuttle. Are we ready for a fun, sexy time or what???Getting the rental car. and then Lisa going back in to talk to the car rental chick when we couldn't get the car started. Good times.
We started the morning with a morning jog. Love running on the strand.
Then we have to hit Pinkberry. (aka crackberry)

Lunch at Baja Fresh.
adding an essential oil to my diet coke. nice job Lisa for taking the picture. One of my very favorite purchases. My starbucks cup. It's like the best purchase ever.
on to the baseball game. Angels won.
Next day was workshops and then beach games.
The beach was perfect, not too hot and not too cold. I believe Jen took a nice nap on the beach.

After the beach games, we went and had dinner on at Ruby's on Huntington beach pier.
Of course we had to find a Sprinkles Cupcake place. So good! This is us sitting at the tire place getting our tire repaired. We ended up having a huge nail in it.

ahh, back at Jim and Jill's. We ended the trip with a nice breakfast from McDonalds and a little something from Coffee bean. Overall,we had a great time. How could you not?? I have the best time with my girls!! Until the next adventure.
