Star Valley

Star Valley 2010
We started with breakfast at Kneaders. Then we golf.
Then the rains come.
What is Star Valley without a little rain on the golf course. Ser
iously, every year.
But, it did clear up for golfing the next day. We had a gr
eat time.

Lisa's golf cart broke down on the 17th hole. We laughed pretty ha
rd. Jen call the golf shop and told them about the cart. I don't think they believed us. Jen laid down the hammer. "I don't know what to tell you, but you've got a cart on the 17th hole that won't start" We laughed so hard. They came and got the cart.Enjoying the beautiful weather after the rain.
Family picture-after church.

The Girls. We have a great time together. We've changed it from a family reunion to a Girls weekend and Ron and Pat (mom and dad) are invited to tag along. :)
Can't wait for next year.

Zack-tivites

I had another cousin get married this summer. First DJ and then Zack. (these two have always been referred to as the little boys) It's weird to think they are married. Zack's event was a 3 day extravaganza--lovingly referred to as Zack-tivities or Zack-a-palooza. It was a good time. It first started with a BBQ. Dad and Vern were in charge of grilling hamburgers for the BBQ

Lisa, Jake, Deb and Zack
Josh, Grandpa and Grandma
Deb was totally stressing at the BBQ but everything turned out fine. Great food, great atmosphere--good times.

Day 2-The Reception/ring ceremony
The Best MenZack and ChynelleVern and Deb
My uncle and his band played at the reception. It was so fun. We danced it up. When we hear music....we can't sit still. I do know that Neil was there recording the "goings on" so there is video of us dancing.--not sure I want to see that. --But we danced anyway and didn't care.Jen, Jenny, DJ, Jenna, CoryZack's friends sprayed them with silly string as they left.

And they drive away in a corvette...... Nice.

Gotta love a wedding.
Day 3 of Zack-tivities (minus the Zack) was boating at Yuba Lake.

Lisa, me, Jen
I forget how much I love to wave run until I'm out there doing it. It's so fun. I do believe that this is where I got Jen hooked on:
Ok, so let me just detour from the wedding blog and rave about how much I love Rockstar Recovery. Seriously, it's the best stuff ever!!! 2 g of sugar in the the whole thing, 20 calories in the whole thing and lots of caffeine. My friend Lauri from the credit union totally got me hooked. (I've been thanking her ever since) Depending on who I am around, I am a little hyper/edgy on Rockstar and sometimes mean-- in a nice way. It's like a truth serum for me. I'll come right out and say stuff, mean or not, and I talk super fast on it. It's crazy!! Yeah, I might have a problem. Let me re-assure, I only drink one a day. 1/2 in the morning and 1/2 in the afternoon. totally recommend it. Totally have my fridge stocked at work and at home. It's totally helping me get off carbonation. :)
Finished with pizza at Deb's. I love family parties that last 3 days.

4th of July fun

For the 4th of July we went up to Midway and had a BBQ with the cousins. It was a great time. We always have fun together. Errol was in town from basic training in Texas. It was a great surprise.
Me, Sara, MM, Smoothie
First, there was an exciting game of horseshoes. Where Preston and Lisa totally schooled us in the game. JW and I are ready for a re-match. I didn't realize how exciting horseshoes could be. :) and wow I had never played before, but we were measuring horseshoes lengths and making sure people weren't crossing over the line, (guilty) it was competitive--and it took us forever to get to 15. *I think you are suppose to play to 21. We thought we would be there till next 4th of July if we played by those rules. And onto the food. Errol is manning the grill. Thanks Ace.

Lisa, Dad, Mom, Lori, and Emily--waiting for their hotdogs. Me, Errol and Preston
Getting the fire ready for s'mores. It's always a delicious time. We get pretty creative with our s'mores.

Can't wait for the next party.

Family

My cousin DJ got married. That was a fun, sexy time in Pocatello. We love anytime we can get together. There is always lots of laughing. Ok this series of pictures cracks me up. We were laughing so hard at grandma, because she couldn't get her camera working. She was getting so frustrated. Zack kept saying look at how frustrated she is getting because she can't figure out her camera. That started something.

Lisa. Jess and Zack

Mom and Aunt Deb.......let the laughter begin. We later found out that Mom tried to use her cell phone as a camera and couldn't figure out why she couldn't see anything through it. She was getting just as frustrated as grandma, but we missed it because we were laughing at Grandma.
It was a good time at the wedding. We did represent as the single ladies at the bouquet toss, however the little 3 and 5 year olds fought over it and won. We think she will still get married before us. (my uncle was willing to take the bet--he actually laid down money on the table)Jess and Zack and Chynelle. (His wedding pictures are coming soon)

Wow, that's a change...

That's what my dad said when I walked in the door after changing my hair color.

Sometimes a girl needs a change. :)
