12 Days of Christmas
Decorating for Christmas
Just getting started. We turned on Christmas music and hauled out all the Christmas stuff.
Here is the finished product.
I love my tree. I love turing out the lights and just having the tree lights on and watching Christmas shows. It's hard for me to do anything else.
I love having my own place and decorating. Especially around the Holiday season. It's so fun to come home.

Jamie and Jeff's wedding day
They were married in the Mount Timpanogos Temple.
Deb, Vern, Jen, Mom and family down the line. Friends after the wedding.
Jamie's old roommates checking out her ring. Andra, Allison, Camille, and Courtney.
Lisa with Allison and Courtney. Jeff's family.
After the temple extravaganza, we headed to the North Hampton house for the wedding luncheon. Great foodl. My favorite was the dessert.
Doug, Diane and Grandpa Pope. Melissa is the one not looking at the camera. Marquita (blue) brought up Grandpa Pope. We were so greatful for that. She felt it was important for Grandpa to see his grand-daughter get married.
Jenna and Jen and Emily. (hottest ticket in town)
Then the real fun began. The reception was at the Bunglaw. We had a great time talking with family and friends and being the present girls. (We definitely need nieces or nephews for the next wedding--we're too old for that job)We decorated the car before they left. Since it was a rental car, we were pretty nice. Just a few cans tied on the exhause pipe, (thanks to whoever helped shine the light so Vern could tie it just right) and a few hearts on the windows and crate paper. Got to love it.
Jamie did throw the bouquet and it was just Lisa, Emily and me. We were getting ready to elbow each other down (thanks Jake for talking strategy with me earlier. He was worried about the height the sistas had on me ) that we totally missed the toss. I picked it up off the floor before the girls. So if that counts..... and we believe in miracles.....hummmmm!

It was such a fun day. We are excited to have Jeff in the family. Can't wait to visit Portland!

Happy Halloween
I was going for Vampire. (Thanks to my love of Angel and Buffy) The cloak is my favorite part of the costume. I wish it was cool to wear it everywhere!
I also like the black lipstick and the long hair.
This was just proof that I went to my ward Halloween party. Julie and Adell were doing the "Beat it" dance. (They had to learn it for a roommate's wedding. My sisters are totally doing that at my wedding--I am so not kidding!!)
Vampire Bride, Pirate or Captian Morgan, Mrs. Roper (aka, Toni, Amy and Kathy)
Every year Toni and I walk around the school and take pictures of what we see. Here are a few of my favorites
The front office dress up as Hogwarts. It was pretty cool. Stacie dressed Hawaiian style. My roommate was a Dark Angel. My favorite thing are the wings and the wig. It totally rocks!
We were posing with my friend Nancy.
Doug and Wade, getting into the spirit of things. (I Duh, and Who Duh--as in I da man and Who da man?) Nice huh?
It's fun to be someone else for a day. I can't wait for Halloween next year.

Fall Break
You can't read the sign, but it says, "you call me a witch like it's a bad thing" I liked it.
My next adventure was up at the Homestead helping out my cousin with some activities. Melissa and I helped out with the pumkin launch. It was pretty fun.
The kids really liked this game. Some of them were able to shoot the pumpkins pretty far. Sometimes they almost pulled us over.
The next event was carmel apples. I was getting more frustrated with the parents of the kids. They did have a good time.
Everything went pretty smooth, however I found out that I cannot work with the public--beyond teaching thier kids. (keep up the good work Lisa and Errol. )
The night ended with making chicken with pesto, mocha german cheesecake and bracelets. So fun.
Then on Sat. we hit the Farmer's market. This was way cool. There are so many people just walking around and they sell such great food. I bought the best tasting hummas. So good! I have to attend a lot more next year.
