Halloween

Ok, I have not finished my Florida pics, but I had to post Halloween. It's always fun to dress up and be someone else for a day.

Right before the assembly. I was kind of nervous. Me, Amy, and Kathy

Amy, Kathy and I all participated in the faculty dance in the assembly. I totally wanted to do it, but didn't want to do it alone--so I recruited. It was pretty fun.

We danced to the monster mash. We had to make up 16 counts of dance steps. Amy and I totally rocked it. Can't wait for next year.

The front office always goes all out for Halloween. This year their theme was "Under the Sea"

I need my space.

Day 3-Kennedy Space Center. This was awesome. All of a sudden everyone becomes this weird science geek. It's so cool that we send people to space. Wow. Well we started off the day with a Diet Coke. (The first McDonald's we saw)

And here we are at Kennedy Space Center. It was so cool. We rode in a space ship simulator. That was pretty cool The build up was scarier then the actual ride.

We took tour of the area. It stopped in different places and highlighted different parts of the space program. It was so interesting.
One of the places we could see the space shuttle on the launch pad. It was pretty cool.
Next stop: Ron Jon Surf Shop in Cocoa Beach. I was so excited.
We programmed in the address and we were on our way. Thanks to Garmin. Love it. It was on A1A BEACH FRONT AVE Yes this is where you want to sing--Ice, Ice, Baby.




This place was pretty cool. It was huge. This was definitley a highlight of the trip.

Jen and I bought jackets--such a great purchase. Ron Jon's was huge. It had a waterfall in the store.

One of my favorite signs in the store said; "Please don't try on the swimsuits if you are oily, wet, or sandy." It made me laugh. The life of a surfer. How would it be?

Florida Day 2

My second day in Florida, we went to Daytona Beach. It was beautiful. At this beach, you can drive right up on the beach and park your car. We spent all day there. This is a picture of my skinned knee. The waves were rough that day and I totally got knocked over and toppled by like 3 huge waves--right in a row. I totally skinned my knee on the sand. It does not look that bad, but oh my gosh, I have a nice little pink scar from it. I actually lost my swim suit a few times because the waves totally pulled it down top and bottom. At one time, Jen tried to tell me that I was exposing myself to all of Florida, at the same time, I was trying to warn her about a huge wave that was behind her, she did not get the memo, and I tried to cover up ASAP, before the next one came. I took a break after this incident.

A nice needed refreshment.--choco-taco and water. Beautiful.After the beach, we went into the Harley Davidson store, because: It was Bike-tober Fest. I was all ready for a ride on a Harley. Jen choosing her Harley shirt. "Gentleman, what's a girl got to do to get a ride?"

This is not a peace sign, it means sunglass pair #2. I get to Florida and realized that totally forgot my sunglasses, so we stop at Target. Then in the massive wave toppling, I lost my sunglasses. So Target again. Hopefully, I can hang on to this pair.

And we celebrated Dj's birthday with some key lime pie. We were so tired. The waves totally take it out of you. I guess it doesn't help that we were totally slammed with waves over and over.

Florida day 1

I was so excited to head to Florida for Fall Break. First stop, Epcot at Disney World. We spent most of the time in the countries. I loved it. You could spent forever in the countries.

In the Coca-cola store, we were able to try soda's from different countries. Kind of interesting. This is Jen--trying out the soda.

Here come the countries.

We ate fish and chips in England. They tasted so good. We were hungry.

We ate Fish and Chips in England. It tasted so good. We were starving. Ok my face looks a little shiny here--it was so freakin' hot. I couldn't believe it. I seriously has sweat dripping off of me. In fact my cousin, Jen, had the best idea--we brought towels to dab the sweat. Seriously.

Now I for sure have to go to the real England-but that is another trip. On to the next country.

FRANCE: We love the french pastries. Couldn't get enough of these little gems.

next stop: Pretzle in Germany. This was pretty tasty.

We had so much fun walking around all the countries. I only took a few pictures compared to what we saw. We went to Canada, England, Mexico, Morocco, China, Japan, Norway, France, America. Each country had movies, or a ride to explain all about their country. It was pretty cool.

We couldn't get over how there were no lines for anything. We never had to wait in line for the restroom, which was awesome. Everytime we went into a restroom, we were like. "Jen is there a line?" "Lines???, Steff we don't do lines!" and we walked right in. In fact in Morocco, there was actually a line and we waited for like 2 seconds, and said "I can't believe that we have to wait in line" "Do we really want to wait?" and we said "No, we don't do lines" --so we walked to Norway to use the restroom. (laughing, pretty hard, because people were kind of staring at us) And...you guessed it. "Lines???" "We don't do lines" we walked right into Norway's restrooms. It started an inside joke for the rest of the trip. (and I believe by the end of Disney World-- we were on Diet Coke #3)

Sushi to end the night. We wanted sushi in Japan, but opted for Fish and Chips--so Tom picked up sushi. And then we had the Wasabi challenge. Jen did a pretty good job with the challenge. That was a good time. We had sushi everynight.
