Christmas 2010

I can't believe that Christmas came and went. We had a lot of Christmas parties. First off, the Pope Girls Party. We all brought recipes and made a Pope Girls' Cookbook. We had some great food. The Popes can cook! We hope add to the book throughout the year.

Onto Christmas. Jamie and Jeff flew out and we had our traditional omelets. Love it!

Ahh, sleeping on the air mattress. Things you do for the Holidays! Lisa and I end up sleeping in the living room every year. It's fun to have us all under the same roof. Love it!

Hey now, wait for the rest of us! Lisa is ready to go!
The traditional morning shot. Camera ready in a flash. They love sitting across from me every Christmas morning. :)
And it looks like Santa did make it to our house. I had a great Christmas. Next we went and saw the movie True Grit and then had dinner at Deb and Vern's house.

Lisa and Jame and Jeff figuring out Mario Brothers.

The movie was really good. And dinner was great.
Back at home--we danced. We got Just Dance for the Wii--and that's what we did.

Dance it up sista and Jeff.
Lisa and Em-showing us how it's done.
My turn.
It's really fun. And a great workout.

Thanksgiving

For Thanksgiving, we headed down to St. George. It was a party. Jim and Jill came out, Deb and Vern came down too. We had tons of fun. First off--Shooting for pies.
Girls with Guns! Look out.

Girls against Guys--The guy pulling for us said he had always wanted an all girl squad--Today, he got one. It was Deb, Emily, Lisa, me and Jill. The winner of our group got to shoot again with the guys. Jill won in our group.
Getting ready. We brought a stool for Gramps to sit on-so he could shoot too.

Jill and Dad tied--So we had a shoot off--

Jill was the big winner.
Now onto the dinner. Everyone pitched in and it went really fast.

The dreaded peeling of the potatoes.

The finished productAs always--it was delicious.

Next day was shopping and then more shooting.

Then we had Grandpa make omlettes.
This had been a Christmas Eve tradition for years. Since Grandpa and Grandma couldn't come up for Christmas, we had them at Thanksgiving.
We had a great time. My family cracks me up. Can't wait for the next get-together. We always have a good time.

Lady Antebellum

November 2nd was the Lady A concert. We were very excited about this concert, since some of us missed them when they came with Tim in July. They put on such a great concert. It was song after song after song. They kept the night going.
Jen, Emily, Lisa,me, Nancy and Dave.
Dave is a good sport to hang with the girls.
Not bad for a Tuesday night!!
I could have listened to them all night. They played all of their songs.
