Christmas

I'm so behind. Christmas came and went--so quick blog on Christmas. Jamie and Jeff came out. We had a great time. I love spending time with friends and family and just hanging out.
Love the early morning pics. The group waiting for presents. Lisa had me for Christmas. She gave me a leather journal from Italy and knee socks. Love them!!

After presents, we had our traditional breakfast, berries and waffles. Good times.

We also got together with the Pope family for a Christmas party.

Preston showing off his new Christmas present.

We always have so much fun when we hang out. I can't wait for the next get together. It's been too long.

Christmas Formal

My ward had a Christmas Formal Dinner/Dance. (Yes I know how that sounds) It was actually more fun then I thought. It has taken me forever to post the pictures. It was fun to get all dressed up.
I went over to my friend Emily's house and we got ready together. It was a great time.

Emily, me and Jenni

We had to show off our bling! And our purses.

Yes that does say Versace.

We had a fun time. We weren't all that excited about the party, but we had a great time.

Love the Grandparents

So my Grandparents came up for my aunt's birthday. I go over to my mom's house on Sunday and we have a conversation that goes like this:

Steff: Hi Grandpa. Hi Grandma

Grandma: Hi Steff

Grandpa: Oh, Steff's here. Hello.

Steff: How are you guys?

Grandparents: Fine

Grandpa: Steff is there a windstorm outside, or is your hair supposed to look like that?

Steff: hum, no windstorm. It's supposed to look like that.

Grandpa: oh. It's a go-er.

Steff: yeah.

Grandma: Well, we like it from the front.

St. Augustine

Ok, finally the last of the Florida pictures. I am a total slacker. We drove down to St. Augustine. I think this was one of my favorite things to do. The city was so cool and it was a beautiful day. We started it out with....a morning devotional.
We can't forget the stop at the Harley Davidson store to celebrate "Bike"-tober. This place was huge. We actually couldn't stop, just a drive by.

And we can't get too far without a stop for breakfast and a diet coke in a styrofoam cup. Love it.

Next stop: St. Augustines. I was so excited to practice taking pictures with my camera. My uncle was so great to help me and show me some tips. We had a great time. In St. Augustine, we saw Castillo de San Marcos. It was a castle built by the Spanish to protect ther empire in America. It was built in 1756.

At the mission they had a cannon re-enactment. This was pretty cool.

These are some of my favorite pictures of the mission.

Jen talking to Lisa on the phone. It was as if she was there!

Getting my lesson in photography.

Whatever it takes to get the shot. Photographers--got to love them.

After the misson, we walked around the city. We ate at a fantastic resteraunt and had the best fish tacos. We also stopped at a chocolate shop. That was great. But the Chocolate covered Key Lime Pie was our favorite little gem.

It was such a great trip. I'm so ready to go back. Beautiful city.

Halloween

Ok, I have not finished my Florida pics, but I had to post Halloween. It's always fun to dress up and be someone else for a day.
Right before the assembly. I was kind of nervous. Me, Amy, and Kathy

Amy, Kathy and I all participated in the faculty dance in the assembly. I totally wanted to do it, but didn't want to do it alone--so I recruited. It was pretty fun.

We danced to the monster mash. We had to make up 16 counts of dance steps. Amy and I totally rocked it. Can't wait for next year.

Me and Amy .

JC and me and Wace-- My favorite students.

The front office always goes all out for Halloween. This year their theme was "Under the Sea"
